 Join the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce as we   recognize those individuals and businesses who  unselfishly give back to our community.

 On Thursday, March, 27, 2014 the Grand Blanc Chamber of   Commerce will present the following awards to individuals/businesses in our community.  This award program brings awareness to those selfless individuals and businesses that contribute time, effort, leadership and mentorship to others they encounter or are aware of in their lives.

If you know of any individuals or businesses that need to be recognized for any of the following awards, please click the logo above to print out a nomination form; and return it to the chamber office by Friday February 21, 2014. 

Categories:

• CHILDREN’S HERO AWARD – Recognizes an individual who unselfishly gives of their time and talents and presents himself or herself as a positive role model while always finding time to contribute to the betterment of children.
• CITIZEN OF THE YEAR – Recognizes an individual who demonstrates outstanding service and must have contributed to the overall good of his community, without monetary gain.
• EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR – Supports the goals of education and provides unselfish assistance.  Exhibits initiative and creativity enhancing the efficacy of education.  Demonstrates excellence in their profession.
• HEALTH PROFESSIONAL HERO – An individual that volunteers time and experience to give care to those in need.  Who mentors others aspiring to work in the health field.  Exemplifies excellence in the field.
• HOMETOWN HERO – Recognizes a business that unselfishly demonstrates outstanding community service to their area.
